Juliette Hurel

Juliette Hurel is a France flutist. She earned first awards for flute and chamber music on the Conservatoire Country wide Supérieur de Musique in Paris, and earned other honours in tournaments in Darmstadt, Kobé, and Bucharest, aswell as on the Concours de flûte Jean-Pierre-Rampal. She often performs chamber music with cellists Gary Hoffman and Jean-Guihen Queyras, violist Yuri Bashmet, violinist Shlomo Mintz, harpist Marielle Normann, pianist Stephen Kovacevich, as well as the Wanderer Trio. She’s also appeared being a concerto soloist with different orchestras across France. Through her specialty area in modern music, she actually is connected with Pierre Boulez, Pascal Dusapin, and Éric Tanguy.
