Malta’s first but still best-known loss of life metal music group, Beheaded, was formed by vocalist Marcel Scalpello, guitarist David Bugeja, and drummer Chris Brincat in 1991. Regarded utter freaks of character amidst the tiny island’s even smaller sized rock picture, the group labored for several years before documenting their first demonstration, “Souldead,” by using second guitarist Tyson Fenech and bassist David Cachia.
