Baroque pop duo Jim and Dale teamed Philadelphia natives Jim Carter and Dale Jerred. Small is well known about their formative years, however in 1967 the twosome produced their debut on Roulette using the one “Livin’ on Like”; a calendar year afterwards, Jim and Dale resurfaced on United Performers using their lone LP, 86% folks, a minor traditional of sunlight pop genre. Two singles had been released in the album–a cover from the Paul Simon melody “Richard Cory” and the wonderful “At night Mind-set”–but neither charted, as well as the duo had not been heard from once again.
