Jena Irene Asciutto, who performs as Jena Irene, is a pop vocalist and songwriter whose smoky tone of voice led her to a runner-up end on American Idol’s 13th time of year. Hailing from Farmington Hillsides, Michigan in suburban Detroit, she is at a band known as Infinity Hour in her early to mid-teens before auditioning for it talent display at age 17.
