Vocalist/songwriter Jamie O’Hara was created August 8, 1950, in Toledo, OH. Originally a university football superstar, a knee damage forced him to consider career opportunities beyond the NFL. He found a guitar and finally begun to sing and play his tracks at shows through the entire Midwest. Various other performers took see, and O’Hara begun to create himself being a songwriter. In 1975, he agreed upon a publishing agreement with Nashville’s Tree Information. In 1985, O’Hara and another Tree songwriter called Kieran Kane collaborated in the tune “Bluegrass Blues,” that your Judds would ultimately record. That conference led the duo to begin with writing and executing together because the O’Kanes. They secured a cope with Columbia and continued release a three acclaimed nation albums between 1987 and 1990. Following the O’Kanes split up, O’Hara came back to his responsibilities being a songwriter. But he also discovered time to discharge his solo debut. GO ABOVE It made an appearance on RCA in 1994; O’Hara had written the entire record himself. As the record was successful, its follow-up didn’t show up until 2001, when O’Hara released the richly textured Gorgeous Obsession.
