Horse Sneakers began like a songwriting cooperation between Caleb and Jacob Graham (the Drums, Goat Explosion). Caleb amicably break up with the task in early stages, and Jacob continued to keep the project along with his child years friend Drew Diver. Exchanging track snippets and suggestions via email and phone (Diver resided in Columbus, OH at that time, and Graham is at Orlando, FL), the duo come up with their 1st batch of diaphanous, synth-kissed indie pop music. Their demos captured the interest of Shelflife Information (at that time home for some likewise dreamy, pop-oriented functions, including Times and Burning up Hearts), and Equine Sneakers’ debut EP, Imperial College, premiered on that label in nov 2009. The fledgling label Vacation Records released an electronic single of Equine Sneakers’ cover from the Field Mice’s “I Want I Meant Even more for you” that same 12 months.
