Born from the bustling indie rock-centric borough of Brooklyn, NY, Cape Cod-bred rockers Highly Think formed in ’09 2009 across the skills of Johnny Stevens (acoustic guitar, vocals, synths) and twin siblings Ryan (drums, vocals) and Affluent (bass, vocals) Meyer. A muscular, hard-hitting power trio in the vein of Queens from the Rock Age group, Kings of Leon, Music group of Skulls, and Royal Bloodstream, the group released a three-song EP (The Most severe Human beings) before going into the studio room with maker Joel Hamilton (Dark Secrets, Elvis Costello) to record their debut long-player. The ensuing Mister Asylum, which presented the fiery solitary “Lydia,” premiered via 300 Entertainment in 2015. Their debut received essential compliment, and two unpredicted Grammy nominations, that resulted in a thorough tour in support. The tour completed in early 2016, although they instantly returned towards the studio room to record another full-length, The Boy Who Passed away Wolf, which noticed launch in November of this year.
