Helrunar

A German black metallic band that shaped in the North Rhine-Westphalia area in 2001, Helrunar began like a trio — Skald Draugir about vocals, Alsvartr about drums, and Dionysos about guitar — but finished up like a duo following the guitarist’s departure in 2008. Their 1st launch, 2003’s Gratr, was a self-released affair that resulted in a cope with Lupus Lounge (which led to a 2004 break up LP with Nachtmahr). The label released the group’s following work, 2005’s Frostnacht, aswell. In 2008, Helrunar came back towards the metallic world’s consciousness using their third full-length, Baldr okay Iss, on Prophecy.
