Harvey Wainapel

A product from the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA area, Harvey Wainapel established himself among the most appealing and versatile jazz saxophonists of his generation; mainly known for his prowess over the soprano, he also demonstrated an excellent alto and tenor participant. After getting his early schooling on the Berklee University of Music in Boston, Wainapel spent the last mentioned fifty percent of the ’70s in European countries, honing his build in a number of musical contexts, including a calendar year as business lead alto and highlighted soloist using the Frankfurt-based German Radio Big Music group.
