Jorge Vercillo

Composer/vocalist who have appeared in the ’90s and received interest, Jorge Vercilo has already established tracks recorded by Djavan (“Last Feliz”), Danilo Caymmi (“Encontro das Águas”), Patrícia Marx (“Novos Coraçõha sido”), Chrystian & Ralf (“Sensível Demais”), Fábio Jr. (“Tudo Ilusão”), as well as the Cheiro de Amor music group (“Fácil de Entender”), amongst others. His tracks were contained in the soundtracks of main cleaning soap operas like Tropicaliente (“Praia Nua”), Mulheres de Areia (“Encontro das Águas”), and Indomada (“Infinito Amor”). Vercilo symbolized Brazil on the Caribbean Globe Festival of Curaçao in 1989 and 1990, earning it both moments. His first Compact disc was documented in 1993, Encontro das Águas. Implementing a pop vocabulary on his second discharge, Em Tudo Que é Belo (1996), he was nominated for the Clear Prize as the very best pop vocalist. His third record, Leve (2000), got Djavan on “Last Feliz,” which became popular.
