French singer-songwriter Guimo (name Guillaume Hermon) has dark, subdued indie rock and roll that pulls from folky, ambient, cinematic, swamp, and Americana affects. His successfully spooky, languorous debut, Which Nip in the Surroundings, Boy, sung completely in English, premiered in 2002.
