Golden Silvers

London’s eclectic, guitar-free trio Golden Silvers formed in 2007 and featured vocalist/keyboardist Gwylim Yellow metal, bassist Ben Moorhouse, and drummer Alexis Nunez. Yellow metal and Nunez got played jointly in previous tasks and brought Moorhouse — who was simply generally a guitarist — in to the fold to full the band’s tempo section. Crafting a danceable indie rock and roll sound with affects which range from the Seaside Young boys and Super Furry Pets to David Bowie and Kraftwerk, Golden Silvers augmented their early gigs with Bronze Membership, a monthly membership night where in fact the music group deejayed and performed live. They earned the 2008 Glastonbury Unsigned competition and performed four shows on the celebration that summer; soon after, their debut one “Arrows of Eros” premiered by the Little and Shed label. After a string of schedules starting for the Secret Jets, the music group released the “Magic Contact/Another World” one independently Bronze Information imprint that fall. The Golden Silvers agreed upon to XL and spent the others of 2008 documenting their debut album. The brand new wave-worshipping one “True Love” was their initial XL launch, arriving in springtime 2009; the full-length Accurate Romance decreased that summer.
