Gil Mantera’s Party Dream

Acquiring the shiny textures of 1980s electronic pop and scuffing them up with a dash of garage area rock attitude, a lot of “get together down!” antics, and an inarguably amazing retro fashion feeling, Gil Mantera’s Party Desire may be the brainchild of two brothers from Youngstown, OH, Gil Mantera and Best Donny. The music group first came collectively in Youngstown on New Year’s Eve 1999; a pal experienced booked a display with many out-of-towners at an area rock golf club, but a snowstorm sidelined the lineup, and scrambling for performers, he asked the brothers if indeed they could produce something.
