Genocide SS

The Swedish hardcore/crust punk trio Genocide SS shaped in the middle-’90s and includes guitarist/vocalist Mieszko Talarczyk (aka Mierre Mongo), bassist/vocalist Rickard Alriksson (aka Richard A.D.), and drummer Danny Assault. They may be known partly for their contacts to the mentioned grindcore music group Nasum, with whom Alriksson once performed and with whom Talarczyk is constantly on the play. It is also well worth noting that while their music group name includes a questionable band to it, they aren’t Nazi sympathizers — the “SS” in the band’s name means “Super Celebrities” as well as the band’s lyrics come with an over-the-top offensiveness and lust for assault that is certainly not designed to be taken significantly; besides, Nasum is definitely well-known like a politically left-wing leaning music group, at least predicated on their lyrics. The 1st Genocide SS recording, Hail the brand new Storm, arrived in 1997 on Sweden’s Distortion Information. That was adopted up in 1999 with We Are Given birth to of Hate (also on Distortion). Upon this recording, they modified their design to a far more certainly Motörhead-influenced design of motorcycle-loving, drug-fueled punk rock and roll with slightly much longer songs (that’s, averaging about two moments rather than minute roughly apiece). We Are Delivered of Hate was reissued (with brand-new cover artwork) by Relapse Information in early 2002.
