Gene Johnson

Keyboardist Gene Johnson was a program player who caused producer Plant Abramson in the ’60s, often on rather aggressive tempo and blues item. He shouldn’t be confused using the mandolinist for Gemstone Rio or additional performers called Gene Johnson, but may be the pianist of this name who documented on the jazz recording — title unfamiliar — in 1950.
