The Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1963 by former students on the Franz Liszt Music Academy in Budapest. Its repertoire runs from Monteverdi to music by modern composers. János Rolla, among Hungary’s leading violinists, continues to be concertmaster from the orchestra since its inception.
