Flake

Crossing a lyrical stress of frustration using the pleasance of melodic, bouncy pop, the Seattle trio of Flake packed this sound on the 1993 7″ debut Begin Without Me. Since that time, the lineup of guitarist/vocalist Rob Middleton and bassist Ken Ackerlund would encounter several drummers before Rob Cunningham arrived in 1996. Following a Y Records launch of Flake’s 1st album, Package, the band could have the opportunity to support it because they toured with famous brands Love Electric battery and Muzzle. The next year, Y Information continuing their support with Flake’s second recording Wild Awesome Anger.
