Epics

The Epics were a four-piece music group comprising Vic Elmes on guitar and business lead vocals, Ian Jansen on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Alan Ross on bass, and Mike Blakely — the sibling from the Tremeloes’ Alan Blakely — on drums and backing vocals. Their background was cut brief by way of a name modification to the greater promising sounding Acid solution Gallery. Because the Epics they documented a lyrical edition of the Moving Rocks’ “Blue Becomes to Gray” for Pye Information. They remaining a slightly even more visible legacy within their second incarnation, and Blakely and Elmes later on caused Jeff Christie within the latter’s musical incarnation as Christie.
