Emily Elbert

Raised in Tx on the musical diet plan of Antonio Carlos Jobim, James Taylor, and oldies radio, singer/songwriter Emily Elbert analyzed piano as a kid before shifting to guitar when she was 15. After liberating her debut Compact disc, Bright Part, in 2006, Elbert was chosen to perform like a vocalist in the Gibson/Baldwin Grammy Jazz Outfit in 2007. That same yr, she received the Grand Reward in the 2007 Tx Music Project Tx 10 Under 20 competition. Elbert then relocated to Boston to review in the Berklee University of Music, but continuing to keep up a musical profession — in 2008, she was a presented performer in the UNITED STATES Folk Music Alliance in Memphis, TN.
