Though friends Ben Cooper and Alex Kane have been playing music together since 2000, it wasn’t until 2004 which they decided to provide a name with their project and begin setting up their tracks. Documenting between October of this year and could of another in Kane’s bedroom and Cooper’s shed, the duo, known as Electric Chief executive, released their debut self-titled full-length on indie electronica mainstay Morr Music in 2006, and soon after a set of 7″s, “YOU MIGHT HAVE the Right to stay Awesome, Vol. 1” and “Vol. 2,” which have been in the beginning documented in 2004 and designed to become an EP, arrived.
