Brainy mechanical technical engineers having a juvenile wit, D.We.Y. punk rock and roll strategy, and strong feeling of creative irony, Electric Laser beam People undertake old-school rap design within a whimsical way by draping absurd lyrics over minimal digital sound files and electric guitar crunches, such as a sonic merging of Ratatat and Certified to Sick. Frontman/bassist Dan Paluska, guitarist Offer Kristofek, and drummer Clark Kemp fulfilled in MIT grad college around the switch from the millennium. Paluska, also known beneath the radio moniker of Six Mil Money Dan, designed and constructed a basement documenting studio considered “Flinstonia” because of its cave-like interior in north Cambridge that acted being a practice space for many musical incarnations from the three scholars’ rings (including Globe vs. the Traveling Saucers, Stentorian Effluvium, as well as the Sneaks).
