Because the 1960s, Ebenezer Obey continues to be probably one of the most popular, prolific, and influential music artists in Nigeria, liberating over fifty albums, developing juju style, and conducting a casual and highly creative campaign against his competitors within the music world. Obey’s 1st music group, the International Brothers, was created in 1964, and performed a sluggish and music made up of split guitars and Yoruban percussion seems. Always a social and spiritual traditionalist, Obey worked well within the compliment song mildew, vaunting both Christianity and the many heads of condition for whom he performed. But while his lyrics had been traditional, his musical path was extremely innovative.
