Dusted

Dusted may be the atmospheric rock and roll task of Holy Fuck’s Brian Borcherdt and producer Leon Taheny, who spent some time working with famous brands Rituals and Last Dream. While Borcherdt is way better known for Holy Fuck’s extreme dancefloor exercises, he also performed in the group By Divine Best, which also presented Feist and Broken Sociable Scene’s Brendan Canning and released the recording Sweet Misunderstandings in 2004, and in addition released the mellow single recording Coyotes in 2008. Borcherdt linked to Taheny when Holy Fuck had been on the break using their occupied touring schedule, as well as the set recorded tunes Borcherdt wrote since producing Holy Fuck’s 2010 record Latin within a converted garage area. Dusted produced its live debut in early 2012 helping Deerhoof and Of Montreal. The duo’s debut record, Total Dust, came that July.
