Duane Hitchings

A prolific songwriter, maker, and musician, Duane Hitchings has already established a submit almost every facet of popular music since Dick Clark was a lad. After playing within the 1958 strike record “Core” in the sensitive age group of 15, Hitchings toured with Del Shannon and Ricky Nelson. Performing with Friend Kilometers led to documenting times with some famous artists from the ’60s and ’70s (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kilometers Davis, Jeff Beck, Alice Cooper), in addition to his own music group Cactus. The past due ’70s discovered Hitchings working carefully with Pole Stewart, co-writing the substantial strike “Da Ya Believe I’m Sexy,” in addition to helping pencil “Youthful Turks,” “Infatuation,” and “Crazy ‘Bout Her.” Within the ’80s, he concentrated some interest on scoring movies, composing themes for Rocky IV and Iron Eagle and earning a Grammy for “I’M GOING TO BE Here Where in fact the Center Is” through the Flashdance soundtrack. Another 10 years was spent composing and creating dance, rap, and R&B strikes for TLC, the Lox, N-Trance, M People, Notorious B.We.G., and 2Pac (although to become fair, nearly all these songs simply contain sampled or reworked variations of “Da Ya Think that I’m Sexy”). Hitchings today works within the Nashville area composing songs for Fishing rod Stewart, Tim McGraw, and Beliefs Hill.
