Located in the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Bay Area but originally from Tempe, AZ, Dryspell can be an aggressive yet melodic alternative rock-band that has solid punk-pop leanings. Dryspell was created in 1997, when vocalist/guitarist John Morris became a member of causes with drummer Gregg Anderson and bassist Al Higgins in Tempe, AZ. At that time, they were college students at Arizona Condition University or college, but after graduating, they relocated to the Bay Region. Originally a trio, Dryspell became a quartet when guitarist/vocalist Chuck Lindo was employed. Dryspell was barely Lindo’s first music group; by enough time he fulfilled Morris, Anderson, and Higgins, Lindo’s continue included such Bay Region bands because the Jumbo Shrimps (that was led by previous Deceased Kennedys member East Bay Ray) and Klaus Fluoride. In 2000, Nick Reeder (known for his use Go Kart Proceed and Heart stroke 9) created Dryspell’s debut recording, Kitty Porn, that was released in the Sick Legal label in 2001.
