Dr. Dooom

Dr. Dooom is among the many alter egos developed by NY rapper Kool Keith. The Dooom personality was made as Keith started to car tire of his prior stint as Dr. Octagon, “eliminating” Doc Ock on “Who Killed Doctor Octagon?” the very first an eye on First Arrive, First Offered. Released in 1999, First Arrive was released in the Funky Ass label and was made by KutMasta Kurt. It revealed a warped persona using a appreciate of cannibalism, rodents, and multivitamins, merging Keith’s brand eccentric design and conversational movement with one of these darker designs. Despite his purpose to prevent the alt-rap Octagon, Keith resurrected him in 2006 in the Come back of Dr. Octagon. Using the revival of his archenemy, Dooom also came back with an urgent sequel with 2008’s Dr. Dooom, Vol. 2 (Threshold). Offering the monitor “RIP Dr. Octagon,” the record also proclaimed the come back of KutMasta Kurt reprising his creation function. Though Octagon reappeared over time (especially on Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ “Buried Alive” in 2013), Dooom retreated in to the shadows.
