Don George

Lyricist Don George is best-known for his cooperation with jazz icon Duke Ellington. Their most-celebrated work is the regular “I’m Realizing the Light,” created in tandem with Johnny Hodges and Harry Wayne; George and Ellington also teamed for tracks including “I Ain’t Got Only the Blues” and “Everything nevertheless, you.”
