Doc Evans

An excellent Dixieland cornetist, Doc Evans freelanced in the Midwest before leading his own rings in Chicago beginning in the 1940s. He documented thoroughly for Audiophile during 1949-1959. Evans resolved in Minneapolis later on in existence, playing music until near his loss of life; his last recordings had been in 1975.
