Punk combo Price cut was shaped in early 1995 by singer Alison Mosshart, guitarist Ryan Seagrist, bassist Adam, and drummer Costs Nesper, all junior students within the Vero Seaside, FL, region. Despite their youngsters, the group started frequently gigging throughout Florida and shortly self-released their debut cassette, Mother Lied if you ask me; a copy from the tape ultimately found its method to Water Meat Information honcho Tim Lyman, and in 1996 the label released the 7″ EP Question Taken Me Under accompanied by the full-length Ataxia’s Alright Tonight.
