Die Echten

Die Echten certainly are a comedic a cappella singing group from Austria who perform in dialect and so are popular within their homeland. Founded in 2000, the group is usually made up of Stephan Gleixner, Alexander Wartha, Andy Woerz, and Patricia Simpson; previous member Renate Reich break up from your group in 2004. Die Echten produced their major-label documenting debut with Im Stimmbad on Sony BMG in 2004 (an associated DVD from the same name was released aswell). The Amadeus Austrian Music Award-nominated recording was a high 20 hit around the Austrian albums graph and spawned some follow-ups: Im Radio (2005), X-Mäs-Späschl (2005), Gretes Strikes (2006), and Die Echten Retten pass away Welt (2008).
