Delilah

English vocalist Delilah makes atmospheric R&B, trip-hop, and singer/songwriter digital pop. Given birth to Paloma Stoecker in France in 1990, Stoecker relocated to North London with her mother at a age. Affected by her DJ/record label owner stepfather — who passed away in an automobile crash in 2002 — she started writing her personal songs. After senior high school, Stoecker analyzed entertainment legislation and music technology at Town and Islington University, during which period she began documenting her music. In ’09 2009, at age group 17, Stoecker was authorized to Atlantic Information. A couple of years later, in order to avoid misunderstandings with pop vocalist Paloma Trust, Stoecker began using her Cuban great-grandmother’s name, Delilah, like a stage name. In 2012, Delilah released her debut recording, From your Roots Up, offering the solitary “Proceed” and a cover of Minnie Riperton’s “Inside My Like.”
