Délia Fischer

Among the talented jazz music artists of younger decades in Brazil, Délia Fischer continues to be using the music artists Nico Assumpção, Marcos Ariel, Toninho Horta, Nivaldo Ornelas, Robertinho Silva, Pascoal Meirelles, Jane Duboc, and Dom Um Romão. She’s also followed the pop celebrities Ed Motta and Baby perform Brasil, amongst others. In August 2000, she became a member of the previous Copa 5 innovator, J. Meirelles, in his return at José Domingos Raffaeli’s jazz classes in the Resort Novo Mundo. Fischer began her musical research in 1977 with Saloméa Gandelmann. In 1986, her professional profession began when she produced Duo Fênix with Cláudio Dauelsberg. The duo started carrying out their instrumental/jazz music throughout Brazil, aswell as overseas at such night clubs as New Morning hours (Paris, France) and Brottfabrik (Germany) and in the Montreux (Switzerland) and Sofia jazz celebrations. They also documented the albums Duo Fênix and Karai-Ete. Using the dissolution from the duo in 1990, Fischer continued with her single profession, dedicating herself to teaching and functioning being a sidewoman in displays and periods. In 1999 she documented Antonio, using the involvement of Romero Lubambo, Nico Assumpção, and Nivaldo Ornelas, amongst others. The record was also released in the U.S. and European countries.
