DDT

Thrash-funk trio DDT was led by singer/guitarist Luther Dickinson and his percussionist sibling Cody, the sons of famous Memphis maker Jim Dickinson. Bassist Paul Taylor finished the lineup, which in 1994 released the live A few of My CLOSE FRIENDS Are Blues; another concert arranged, Live in the CELEBRATED Antenna Club, made an appearance two years later on. With the help of vocalist Kelley Harm, sax participant Jim Spake, and keyboardist Chris Parker, the lineup morphed in to the DDT Big Music group, honing a huge electric boogie audio; when Taylor exited to become listed on Big Ass Pickup truck, the Dickinsons recruited bassist Chris Chew up and created the North Mississippi Allstars.
