David Massengill

New York-based David Massengill continues to be involved with folk music, specially the NY Fast Folk community, for more than two decades. Famous as an excellent writer of music noted for his or her universally applicable styles and their faithfulness to American folk customs, he in addition has earned a status as a fantastic guitarist and hill dulcimer player, not only is it a top-notch storyteller. In 1987 Massengill released two self-employed cassettes — Great American Bootleg Tape and Kitchen Tape — that both received rave evaluations through the entire folk community. Then signed to Soaring Fish Records, liberating APPROACHING for Air flow in 1992 and Come back in past due 1995. In 1998 Twilight the Taj Mahal arrived, accompanied by his Gadfly debut, 2002’s My House Must Be a particular Place. Four years later on WE ARE Together premiered, accompanied by Dave on Dave in 2007.
