Dan Buegeleisen

Jazz musician Dan Buegeleisen played trumpet for many a few months in Japan before settling straight down in LA. There he created an affinity for Latin music, while also executing with jazz musician Les McCann and adding in the studio room on tasks for Clarence Paul, a manufacturer associated with Motown. While playing his trumpet on the freelance basis, he gained a master’s level through the Hayward campus of California Condition College or university, where he was a structure pupil of Dave Eshelman and Mel Graves. Previously he was an Indiana College or university jazz theory pupil under David Baker. Buegeleisen can be a chairman from the jazz departments at St. Mary’s University and Contra Costa University. In 1991, the Pacific Coastline Collegiate Jazz Celebration named him Excellent Composer Arranger. Using the CARMA Big Music group in 1999, he performed the Monterey Jazz Celebration, where he performed one of is own own functions. The CARMA Big Music group is also highlighted on his initial solo effort, Western world Coast Alternative, that was released by Corridor in 2001. The lengthy list of performers he spent some time working with contains Diane Shur, Bobby Shew, Pete Escovedo, Tag Levine, Mike Vax, Smith Dobson, Ed Kelley, David Hardiman, Steve Smith, and Dave Liebman.
