Corpus Christi

Biography

Corpus Christi was a Christian steel music group from Cincinnati, Ohio, founded by guitarists Jarrod Christman (also in charge of the clean vocals over the band’s music) and Jon Pauly. Another associates included bassist Phil Smith; “severe” vocalist Can Henry, and drummer Justin Evans. The music group performed a hooky meld of thrash and loss of life metal, inspired by On the Gates and In Flames. As you might imagine, the music group members produced no bone fragments about the actual fact they are disciples of Christ (the music group name is normally Latin for “Body Of Christ”) as well as the group’s lyrical articles is filled with personal references to Christ as well as the traditional fight for the citizens of earth between your Abrahamic God and his cursed previous angel, Satan. Corpus Christi’s debut record, The Darker Tones of White made an appearance on Victory Information in ’09 2009. Through the band’s Scream The Prayer tour, Corpus Christi begun to eliminate members in support of Christman continued to be, who subbed out all of those other musical duties to complete the tour. The brand new lineup, with lead guitarist Derek Ayres, bassist Caleb Rhoads, drummer Andy Poling, and vocalist Potential O’Connell, documented Corpus Christi’s sophomore work A Feast For Crows that was released by Success in July of 2010.
