Cave

Chicago-based psychedelic/Krautrock fans Cave craft restricted and cool free-form slabs of groove-heavy instrumental space rock which have gained the group comparisons to everyone from Can to Stereolab to Funkadelic. Shaped in 2006, Cave grew from the ashes of a small number of local Chicago rings, in addition to Missouri-based Warhammer 48K. The music group released its full-length debut, Psychic Psummer, on Essential Records in ’09 2009. This year 2010 the music group moved to Move City, launching the EP Pure Moods before pursuing up with another full-length, Neverendless, in 2011. The minimal and seriously edited Threace made an appearance in 2013, and was accompanied by a career-spanning rarities collection, Discharge, in 2014.
