Carlos Navas started while Tetê Espíndola and Alaíde Costa’s supervisor in the late ’80s. In 1992, he performed like a vocalist with Alzira Espíndola, and began to participate in displays from the duo Luli e Lucina as well as the performers Tetê Espíndola and Alzira Espíndola. Four years later on, he opened up the display Cançõsera e Momentos in São Paulo, having been asked to record from the Dabliú label. His 1st Compact disc, Pouco Pra Mim, premiered in 1997. In 2000, he do the display Por Um Triz alongside the celebrity Clarisse Abujamra in the Sesc Vila Mariana (São Paulo). Also in 2000, he was among the soloists in the Sinfonia Paulistana (as well as Zé Luís Mazziotti, Claudya, Célia, as well as the São Paulo Outfit symphonic music group), through the commemorations from the wedding anniversary of São Paulo.
