Carlos Colla

Successful composer documented by many best Brazilian artists, Carlos Colla, also the producer of Menudo and Luis Miguel in Brazil, started his creative career as an actor in the ’70s. Quickly, he started to create music for the takes on he worked well in, and played your guitar at night clubs in the Praça Mauá part of Rio. For the reason that period, he became a member of the music group O Grupo like a guitarist, where he fulfilled Maurício Duboc, also an associate from the music group. After an O Grupo display in the Canecão, Colla and Duboc had been launched to Roberto Carlos, who asked both composers to create a song specifically for him to record. Their response was a cassette tape with “Negra” and “Nome da Outra Música,” both documented by Carlos. This is the departure stage for an effective career like a composer for Colla, with “Falando Sério” (documented by Carlos, as was “A Namorada”), “Dança perform Coco” (Xuxa), “Hoje a Noite Não Tem Luar” (Legião Urbana), “Fogão de Lenha” (created with Maurício Duboc and Xororó, documented by Chitãozinho e Xororó), “Pra Que Mentir” (with Marcos Valle, documented by Erasmo Carlos), “Sinto Muito” (with Chico Buarque, documented by Wanderléa), “Tô Deixando Você” (with Chico Roque, documented by Chitãozinho e Xororó), “Na Hora perform Adeus” (with Chico Roque/Matogrosso, documented by Matogrosso e Mathias), and “Doces Algemas” (with Nenéo, documented by Wanderley Cardoso).
