Using their 2002 inception, Camp Freddy were neither a full-time band nor a jam session, falling somewhere for the reason that middle ground where friends simply came occasionally together to try out music (namely cover songs) for the sheer fun of playing rock and roll & move. Deriving their name from a personality within the Michael Caine film The Italian Work, the music group was primarily made up of guitarist/vocalist Billy Morrison, guitarist Dave Navarro, drummer Matt Sorum, vocalist Scott Weiland, vocalist Donovan Leitch, and bassist Chris Chaney; they produced a pretty amazing musical réamounté included in this, period having been spent with organizations just like the Cult, Weapons N’ Roses, Rock Temple Pilots, Jane’s Dependency, Velvet Revolver, Nancy Boy, Circus Diablo, as well as the Stress Channel.
