Daughters of Eve

Chicago garage area band the Daughters of Eve was formed in past due 1965 by supervisor Carl Bonafede — currently the mastermind behind regional most favorite the Buckinghams (most widely known for the traditional “Sort of a Pull”), Bonafede right now looked to put together an all-girl group, 1st recruiting singer/guitarists Judy Johnson and Marsha Tomal. Bassist Andee Levin and drummer Debi Pomeroy curved out the initial lineup, which documented its debut one, “Hey Fan,” for the united states label in 1966. Bassist Marilou Davison changed Levin with time for the 1967 follow-up, “Symphony of My Spirit,” and was herself changed by Lori Polish on “Don’t Waste materials My Period,” the Daughters of Eve’s third one and their initial for the Spectra Audio label. The group agreed upon to Cadet for 1968’s “Public Tragedy,” but dissolved afterwards that season when both Johnson and Tomal wed.
