Bytet

Robert Geiger began saving in 1989 by environment several his brother’s poems to some gothic-rock soundtrack. 3 years afterwards he first performed live as Bytet, being a one-man techno- and industrial-based music group in coffee homes and warehouses about Anchorage, AK. A six-track demonstration tape afterwards that season — and also a track for the Alaska Alternative compilation — helped concrete Geiger’s local popularity. For Bytet’s 1993 debut record, Initial Bite, he recruited percussionist Kris Rosentrater, who remained on for concert events during the following two years. THE ATTENTION Catcher and Bloodstream & Computer systems II The Come back from the Cyberpunks implemented. Keyboardist Mike Miller changed Rosentrater in 1995, and Bytet released Elektro-Industrial Noises from the Northwest and Bytet Music.
