BUFFAY may be the comedy-rap alter ego of Michigan-based maker/songwriter Brandon Wiard. Previously known for his melodic power pop, Wiard started recording beneath the BUFFAY moniker in the past due 2000s, building sophisticated tracks from scrape using live instrumentation and utilizing several guests from Southeast Michigan’s indie rock and roll and hip-hop picture.
