Bryan Andrew Wilson

Vocalist, songwriter, and Christian preacher Bryan Andrew Wilson was raised in Danville, Illinois surrounded by music and religious beliefs. He was the grandson of Tommie Davis, who performed gospel with the fantastic B.B. Ruler, and his mom have been a vocalist with an R&B music group, nonetheless it was gospel he noticed most, in every types of sectarian variants, as the family members attended the many Baptist, Apostolic, and various other churches the region offered. Wilson ingested everything, and was a stirring traditional gospel vocalist by enough time he was a teenager, when he started recording some traditional gospel albums for Malaco Information, recordings that ultimately gained him Dove and Stellar honours for the Bryan’s Music record in 1996. But Wilson thought we would walk away in the gospel music business to wait Claflin School in Columbia, SC, where he gained a qualification in religious beliefs and school of thought, and implemented it up using a calendar year of divinity research at Princeton Theological Seminary. It had been while he was at Claflin that Wilson uncovered modern Christian music and understood that there have been a whole lot of various ways towards the river when it found ministering with music. He found his career once again, developing a shiny, upbeat gospel design that combined old-school R&B and spirit, surf music, choice rock components, and a lot of funk and Caribbean rhythms, some sort of seaside music method of compliment & worship. Wilson and his supervisor bankrolled a debut record, A Second Arriving, in the brand new design in 2008, that was received with some acclaim. Wilson also continuing his personal ministry, getting the pastor from the Remnant Covering chapel in Washington, D.C. His 5th solo album, THE MAIN ONE Percent, made an appearance in 2014.
