Brox Sisters

An American singing trio, the Brock sisters Bobbe (b. Josephine Brock, 28 November 1901, Riverton, Iowa, USA, d. 2 Might 1999, Glen Falls, NY, USA), Kathlyn (b. Kathleen Brock, 14 June 1906, Winchester, Kentucky, USA, d. 27 August 1988, NY, USA), and Lorayne (b. Eunice Brock, 11 November 1898, Memphis, Tennessee, USA, d. 14 June 1993, LA, California, USA) had been raised in Edmonton, Canada. Changing their name to Brox, the sisters broke into showbusiness in the first 20s with Broadway performances for the Music Container Revue (1921, 1923, 1924) as well as the 1927 Ziegfeld Follies. They documented two edges for Brunswick Information before signing distinctive privileges with Victor Information. As often occurred to Broadway performers in the past due 20s, these were asked to capitalize on the reputation with film performances, included in this 1930’s highly effective The Ruler Of Jazz.
