Borneo & Sporenburg

A techno-pop production group using one of Cologne, Germany’s many superb electronic brands, Italic, Borneo & Sporenburg are simply as more likely to make tasteful, minimal tech-house because they are likely to make something that appears like a mix between smooth spirit and mid-’80s sophisti-pop. Concurrently hailing from Zurich and Stuttgart, Borneo (Daniel Varga) and Sporenburg (Frank Wössner) are similarly influenced by New Purchase and Mike Printer ink. The duo released their debut recording, Keep in mind Today, in 2002. A set of singles were released to get the recording, including “Wiedersehen,” offering greatly treated vocals from periodic collaborator Philippe. Varga and Wössner also perform collectively like a DJ team.
