A steel trio with indie sensibilities and a penchant for electronic devices — a lot more of the rarity through the 1980s when compared to a 10 years later on — Belfegore shaped around German guitarist and vocalist Meikel Clauss, Canadian drummer Charly T. Charles and American bassist Raoul Walton. Agreed upon to Elektra in the first ’80s, the group released a self-titled LP in 1984 before transferring into obscurity.
