Bastards of Fate

Roanoke, Virginia’s Bastards of Destiny drive their experimental pop to extremes, merging sugary melodies with outrageous sound, shrieked vocals, and other sonic shenanigans. The group created in 2006, when guitarist/vocalist Doug Cheatwood became a member of causes with guitarist Benjamin Pugh, keyboardist Camellia Delk, bassist Jason Wellz and percussionist Doug Shelor. Despite hardships just like the open fire that burnt down their practice space, the music group persevered, liberating their 2012 debut recording Who’s a Fuzzy Friend? and its own follow-up, Vampires Are Actual & Palpable, 2 yrs later on. The Bastards of Destiny came back with Suck the Light Out, which HHBTM released in early 2017.
