Bang the Party

Among the initial British dance serves to get airplay on American dancefloors, Bang the Party was formed by Child Batchelor and Keith Franklin. Batchelor have been playing rare-groove funk and spirit with schoolmate Jazzie B (afterwards of Spirit II Spirit) because the middle-’80s. He afterwards installed with Franklin as Bang the Party to record many of the earliest British isles acid-house monitors: “Jacque’s Theme” and “Discharge YOUR SYSTEM.” Very much respect was via America, and “Discharge YOUR SYSTEM” even gained a re-release on Derrick May’s Transmat Information (using a Mayday Combine on top of that). “Bang Bang You’re Mine” was another early membership traditional that skirted the United kingdom graphs, spawning the duo’s just LP, 1990’s Back again to Jail. Though Bang the Party didn’t last lengthy, Batchelor continuing to DJ at well-known locations, and Franklin afterwards made an appearance (briefly) in KCC using the Advent’s Colin McBean.
