Balmorhea

Produced in 2006 by founders Rob Lowe and Michael Muller, Balmorhea enjoy textural post-rock using a classical impact. Using the abilities of Aisha Uses up (violin), Nicole Kern (cello), and Travis Chapman (dual bass), the Austin, TX, quintet utilizes plaintive strings and a web host of other musical instruments performed by Lowe and Muller to make a delicately split and pastoral audio. In 2007 the music group self-released its eponymous debut, Balmorhea, implemented the next season by Rivers Hands, that was released on Traditional western Vinyl. The music group released its third full-length outing, All Is certainly Wild, All Is certainly Silent, along with the remix record All Is Crazy, All Is definitely Silent: Remixes in ’09 2009. After considerable touring in america and European countries, the band discovered time to get back in to the studio room, and released Constellations the next year.
